The Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust has disclosed that, based on a recent study conducted by Allianz Partners, a travel insurance company, the most favored international destinations for Americans to visit during Thanksgiving are Cancun, San Jose del Cabo, and Puerto Vallarta.
“Thanksgiving” represents the time when family and friends come together, and Americans convey their appreciation for their freedom, as well as for provisions, shelter, and various other blessings. This year, the holiday is scheduled for Thursday, November 23rd.
According to the findings of this study, New York City and Cancun maintain their status as the top choices for Americans journeying away from their homes during this Thanksgiving period, as outlined in the annual ranking of the top ten Thanksgiving destinations compiled by the same company, both internationally and domestically.
The travel insurance company scrutinized over 800,000 insured travel plans for Thanksgiving vacations to formulate this list.
The other preferred domestic destinations include Seattle, Orlando, Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and Detroit, in that order. Meanwhile, the most sought-after international destinations are Cancun, San Jose del Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, London, Montego Bay, Punta Cana, Nassau, Oranjestad, Paris, and Providenciales.
