In conclusion, the National Sports Games for People with Down Syndrome, Intellectual Disability and Autism, to be held from June 15 to 18 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, will have the participation of more than 600 athletes from the 32 states. These competitions consist of athletics, swimming, basketball and sports dance, and will allow the delegations to have the best athletes ready for the national and Parapan American events.

The president of the Mexican Federation of Special Sportsmen and the director of the Municipal Sports Council agreed that the local infrastructure is ideal to carry out these competitions. These games will not only serve to enjoy the participation of extremely well-prepared athletes, but also to confirm the best national sports records and thus prepare the participants for the national team. Finally, both figures considered that the support and collaboration of the local population was necessary to make this event a success.
