Calling all movie buffs! The highly anticipated Puerto Vallarta International Film Festival (PVIFF) is back for its 2024 edition, taking place June 14th-17th, 2024. Entry to the festival is free, with screenings held at the Centro Universitario de la Costa Auditorium and other venues.

Since 1995, the PVIFF has championed international cinema, fostering connections between filmmakers and audiences. This year promises an exciting lineup of films across various categories, including official selections, documentaries, children’s films, and environmental pieces. The festival is also known for its “Iguana de Oro” award, recognizing outstanding contributions to film.

This year’s festival will showcase 37 films, including 10 feature films, 12 short films, and five additional short films as part of the Mar en Corto festival. The lineup promises a diverse range of genres and themes, catering to a wide spectrum of film enthusiasts.
