Vallarta Airport obtains the distinction of Inclusive Tourism

According to Miguel Cravioto, spokesperson for the Group of Aeroportuario del Pacfico (GAP), the Aeropuerto Internacional de Puerto Vallarta received the designation of “Turismo Incluyente” last week for adhering to the standards of the model of service and attention to people with disabilities.
In this regard, it was mentioned that this distinction is given to tourism businesses that not only have knowledge of providing assistance to people with disabilities, but also have the necessary interior and exterior facilities, as well as informational services, to provide high-quality service to this market segment.
“To achieve it, we advise and collaborate one-on-one with a consultant to address the five criteria that the Secretara de Turismo Federal that awards the distinction evaluates, and these are: exterior facilities, interior facilities and restrooms, sealética, and services of care and information.”
The minimum approval score required to receive this distinction is 85, and the Aeropuerto Internacional de Puerto Vallarta reached 91.76. As a result, on July 12th, this digital seal and a physical diploma were presented to the recipients.

This distinction is intended for travel agencies, lodging establishments, dining establishments, museums, meeting venues, hotels, hospitals, theme parks, and tourist transportation.
